Last week 6 of us dined at the restaurant. First of all walking in there is a women 50+, red hair, with her huge breasts exposed. Her name started with an S- something. I thought we were being greeted at a gentleman club. We were in ear shot of her the whole time during our meal. For being at least 50 she sure likes to gossip about the employees. It was rude, restaurant talk . We have never heard such a demeaning and loud conversation to who ever would listen . We felt like we back in high school. Why she was a greeter we will never know . She needs to be in an office, ALONE. I wish we would have moved. Next time if she is there. we will ask for a table far away from her. There needs to be a more refreshing, up beat greeter. The food and service were good. However the minute one walks in usually sets the tone.

All of our visits here have been nothing short of splendid. From the atmosphere, service, and delicious food, we always leave satisfied and yearning for more shortly after. We've had the best service from the waitresses and waiters at this establishment which has enriched the experienced to a profound level. Most recently "Vanessa K", due to an error in the kitchen, I got the wrong side so not only did she get me the right side (while keeping mine), she effaced the cost and we were awarded a dessert. Though she said it was also for the wait (it was only about ten minutes to get the right side). Exceptional customer service and I wanted to give her a good review as well. Thanks a lot carrabba's.

Haven't been here for a while since we live near Las Vegas, but came here right off the plane and we were not disappointed. The Sicilian Chicken soup was as good as ever and my wife and I both had the Tagliarini Pic Pac. The Roma tomatoes were plump and delicious, and the pasta was as fresh as could be. We had dinner in CA a few nights earlier at another Italian chain and it did not even come close, especially in regards to freshness and flavor. Top it off with a decent salad, delicious hot bread and outstanding service by Shane and we will come back again every time we're in Daytona Beach. And did I say VERY reasonable pricing? Highly recommend.

I love this place! I actually crave their food. I always get the buffalo wings but I have them mix the 2 sauces together then coat the wings with it. Its like a teryaki sauce mixed with buffalo so its sweet and spicy. Then I get their blackened mahi mahi fish tacos. It comes with tortillas, rice, beans, a pineapple slaw, and their own dressing. HEAVEN!!

The food here is always a bit above mediocre. They get a bonus star for really superb service, including a lot of patience and consideration for tired parents of two little kids. The whole dining experience felt like concierge luxury service.

I have visited Carrabbas many times in Miami and Chicago mostly and I like it, don't take me wrong but this time It was pretty bad in Daytona Beach, I requested salmon and It was overcooked, sautéed spinach were too salty...way too salty; my husband had tilapia and It was a little better than mine but It was not great and his veggies were too salty as well. My basil tomato soup was delicious and next time I think I will only get the soup, It is very disappointing to get fish overcooked and I am not happy about it. Service was good as usual. This time I am not happy with my experience at Carrabbas and i don't feel like having fish ever again at Carrabbas.

Favorite chain italian restaurant ever! It appears to be the favorite of many others too. Hence the hour long waits for a table that can be typical, unless you are an early bird or late-nighter. As an option, you can sit outside or at the bar on a first come, fist served basis. The food is great! The menu choices provide a fantastic array of options. Food is delcious. I like the pasta dishes. They provide curbside service too.

Not understanding this restaurant being in a strip mall. Total weirdness. Food is like any other. I like to call ahead and park in curb side parking, get my food, and go. No waiting. Love it!

I could go here and just eat the bread. The food was good, but totally not worth the price. Sign up for the e club and get a coupon emailed to you (almost instantly) for a free appetizer to cut down the cost a bit.

We had a decent dinner. Waiter brought the wrong sauce with the calamari. The staff was really polite. We waited about 30 minutes for a table, it was Saturday evening. Bartender didn't know how to make a Negroni. How is that possible in an Italian place? He was asking ME what was in it. I'm not a bartender. Does Chevy ask me what parts are used to build a car when I buy one? No. So Mr. Bartender, learn your job.

I was in daytona and I stopped in this reataurant to have lunch with my brother. It was the first time I had been to this chain of restaurant. The service was great. The reataurant was clean and the bathroom was especially clean. (I love clean bathrooms! It smelled good too) I tried the tomato basil soup and parmesan cruated chicken salad. Both were really good. You cant go wrong with anything you try. If you stop in to this establishment make sure to ask for Carlos(my brother). Even though the waitress I had was awesome but I am horrible with names.

It was absolutely wonderful. The pork chop Marsala was phenomenal just like usual, and my server Celeste was excellent! She made recommendations and I took her up on the shrimp. I would highly recommend.

Great Service as always but I was a little disappointed in the food tonight it was just okay. We chose to sit at the kitchen bar I really thought this would be a cool experience but this particular location seems to run without a kitchen manager and the place was a disaster no one was supervising the operation or cleaning up, pots, pans, bowls, utensils were piled up everywhere. Open trash cans full of food standing around. The food handling protocols were non-existence if this is the standard operating procedure I don't think I will return. The lack of safe food practices and the multiple opportunities for cross contamination was more than I care to witness. The preparation surfaces were disgustingly dirty you can't prepare and cook seafood, chicken and veggies in this environment. I have eaten here many times and the food was always good but I won't risk coming back if they don't manage the mess in the kitchen. There is no excuse for this and it's unbelievable especially since the kitchen is in view of the customers. I never saw one manager in the restaurant no wonder. This place resembles nothing of my past visits.

Suzie wad great, took care of all of our needs. Assisted with menu options and customizing or meal to make sure we got all that we wanted. She made sure that before our meal was served that it was correct and was very attentive. She shared promotions with us and because of her our experience was awesome.

Awful service. Took slightly under 2 hrs to eat lunch, and restaurant basically was empty. Waitress had attitude. A family favorite dish, that's been ordered at numerous restaurants, was inedible. Yes, inedible. How hard is it to get a tomato and mozzarella salad right. Lost time, and now we're way off schedule.

I came here during a rain delay for the race. Was not disappointed. Our waiter was wonderful and kept our drinks filled. We had the Mussels and Caprese for appetizers...they were wonderful. I had the Mezzaluna. It was marvelous. I'm definitely remembering to come back here!

After a day of shopping with my best friend, we stopped here after walking out of Applebee's by the mall. They didn't even acknowledge us for almost 10 minutes and after another 15 with no drinks we decided to leave. We drove past several restaurants and chose to come here. From the hostess, to the server, and even the manager checked on us. The food was amazing and we couldn't have asked for better service.

My wife loves coming to Carrabba's, it is her favorite place to eat. Great service and great atmosphere. I do need to mention that they really like to use the salt when they cook. On our last visit a few days ago the entire meal was very over salted. We almost sent it all back. This is a shame because the food tastes great on its own.

The service was good (we liked our waiter). The entrees were fine, but my house salad was pretty much iceberg lettuce and exceedingly disappointing. The cannoli shells were stale. All in all we have been to better Carrabas.

This is my favorite restaurant, family style of all time... The wife and I eat here on a regular basis. My personal favorite item has always been 3 way chicken, you might have to ask for it as it's not always on the menu. Only once did I have chicken 4 ways... What a treat! We have tried many other items, but stand firm on the 3 way chicken dish. Staff seems to change regularly but all are well informed to the menu. Portions are enough not to try a desert... No comment on them. It's simple just give it a try. We go north sometimes to the Palm Coast for a meeting with some other friends, they too enjoy this great place to eat! Just try it!!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
